About Wealth Paradigms
A reference on insurance, credit and saving, written by a small editorial team and operated by an Italian company. What we do, what we refuse to do, and how a guide gets written.
What this site is for
Financial products are sold in a language of their own. A car insurance quote talks about limits and deductibles, a loan offer about APR and origination fees, a savings account about APY and compounding. Wealth Paradigms translates that language. Each guide takes one product or one decision, explains how it works in the United States, defines the terms as they come up and ends with the questions worth asking the provider before you sign.
The aim is modest and specific: after reading a guide, you should be able to read the quote, the policy or the loan agreement in front of you on your own, and notice what it leaves out.
What this site is not
It helps to be precise about this, because the difference matters in personal finance.
- Not a provider. We don't lend money, issue cards, write insurance or hold deposits.
- Not an intermediary. CTAWeb Srls, the company behind the site, is not a licensed insurance agent or broker, loan broker, credit intermediary or financial adviser. It doesn't sell, arrange or place any product, and it isn't registered with the Italian insurance regulator (IVASS), the Italian register of credit agents and brokers (OAM) or any licensing authority in a US state.
- Not an adviser. We don't know your income, your health, your debts or your plans, so we never tell you which product to choose. A guide can explain what a high deductible means; only you, or a licensed professional who knows your situation, can decide whether it suits you.
How we work
Every guide is built from sources a reader could check for themselves. We use four kinds, in this order of weight:
- Published terms and conditions. The provider's own rate pages, fee schedules, policy wording and cardholder agreements, read on the date shown at the top of the guide.
- Disclosure documents. The papers providers are required to give you: the Truth in Lending disclosure on a loan, the rate and fee table on a credit card application, the Summary of Benefits and Coverage for a health plan, the declarations page of an insurance policy.
- Official tables and data. Figures published by public bodies, such as the Federal Reserve, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the FDIC, state insurance departments and the National Association of Insurance Commissioners, each cited with its date.
- Verifiable reviews and complaint records. Public complaint databases and reviews count only when they are specific (a date, a product, an amount) and appear in more than one independent place. An anonymous review on its own counts for nothing.
When a guide shows a rate, a premium or a fee, it is an example taken from one of these sources to show how the calculation works. It is not a quote, and your own offer will differ.
What we never do
- No rankings. We don't put products in a "best of" list. A single label can't describe a policy or a loan, and pretending otherwise would mislead you.
- No personal recommendations. No guide tells a particular reader which product to take.
- No promises. We never say you will be approved, save a certain amount or earn a certain return. Approval, price and return depend on you and on the provider.
- No claims of testing. We don't open accounts or buy policies to review them, and no guide suggests we did.
- No invented people. There are no fictional experts, testimonials or customer stories on this site.
Who writes the guides
Guides are researched, written and checked by the Wealth Paradigms Editorial Team, a small anonymous team working for CTAWeb Srls. We sign as a team because every guide passes through more than one person before publication: one drafts it from the sources, another checks every figure, term and link against those sources. A personal byline would suggest a single author who doesn't exist.
How the site is funded
Some links on the site lead to providers or partner platforms that pay us a commission when a reader takes an action there, such as requesting a quote or submitting an application. Those payments keep the site free to read. They never decide which products a guide mentions or what it says about them. The advertiser disclosure explains the arrangement in full, including what we don't cover.
When we get something wrong
Rates move and providers rewrite their terms, sometimes without notice. Found an outdated rate or a wrong figure? Send info@wealthparadigms.com the address of the page and, where possible, a link to the provider's current terms. We check the source, correct the guide and change its date. If the error concerned a figure a reader might have relied on, the correction is stated in the guide itself.
