Privacy policy

A finance site could ask for a lot of personal information. This one asks for none. What little data the site does process is set out below, item by item.

In short

  • You can read every page without an account, and the site has no forms, newsletter, comments or log-in.
  • We never ask for financial information: no income, no credit score, no Social Security number, no account details. Any quote or application form you see after following a link belongs to the provider or partner who runs that page, not to us.
  • The site processes three kinds of personal data: web server logs, one cookie that remembers your answer to the cookie banner, and the emails you choose to send us.
  • There are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers, and all fonts, images and scripts are served from our own server.

Data controller

Wealth Paradigms is run by CTAWeb Srls, which decides how the data described here is used and is therefore its controller. Its seat is at Via Castelluccio 3, 81030 Falciano del Massico (CE), Italy; VAT IT04201890615; company register entry CE-307422. For anything about this policy, write to info@wealthparadigms.com. Because the processing is limited and doesn't involve monitoring people on a large scale, we are not required to appoint a data protection officer and have not done so.

The register of processing

Each row is one kind of data. The notes below the table add what doesn't fit in a cell.

Data Purpose Legal basis (GDPR) Kept for
Server logs: IP address, date and time, page or file requested, response code, bytes sent, referring page, browser user agent Delivering pages, security, blocking abuse, finding errors Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f) Up to about 6 weeks (weekly rotation)
consent cookie: the value accepted or rejected Remembering your banner choice and respecting a refusal Legal obligation on cookie consent, Art. 6(1)(c) 180 days, or until you delete it
Emails: your address, name if given, message and attachments Answering you, correcting guides, handling requests Legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f); legal obligation for privacy requests, Art. 6(1)(c) Up to 24 months after the last message

Server logs. We have balanced our interest in a secure, working site against yours: logs are never used to identify, follow or profile readers, and they are deleted automatically. A specific entry may be kept longer only while an incident is being looked into, or for as long as a legal claim requires it.

Emails. If a message contains information we didn't ask for and don't need, such as account numbers, identity documents or health details, we delete that part. The same retention exception for legal claims applies.

No decision about you is made by automated means, and no profile of you is built.

Guides may link to insurers, lenders, card issuers, banks and partner platforms; a number of these links carry an affiliate code (see the advertiser disclosure). When you follow one:

  • the site you land on, and any affiliate network in between, may record that you arrived from Wealth Paradigms, so that a commission can be credited;
  • any form you fill in there, for a quote, an application or an account, is collected by that company as an independent controller, under its own privacy policy. Some comparison and lead-generation platforms share the details you submit with several providers so that they can contact you: read who will receive your data before you press send.

The networks send us totals: how many clicks and completed actions there were, each with a reference code, a date and a country, and nothing that names, contacts or describes the finances of a person. We make no attempt to link these totals to individuals.

Current and prospective networks: the Canadian MaxBounty and the US-based Perform[cb]. Their policies are at maxbounty.com/privacy and Perform[cb] privacy policy. Any other network or comparison platform will be added here before its links appear on the site.

Advertising we may run elsewhere

We may promote the site with ads on search engines, for example Microsoft Advertising. Today no advertising or conversion tag is installed on these pages. If we ever add one, such as Microsoft's Universal Event Tracking tag, it will be listed here and in the cookie policy first, together with its provider and a link to that provider's privacy statement; it will run only for readers who accept it in the banner, and the banner will ask everyone again.

Hosting and recipients

Our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, runs the servers in Germany that hold the site and the mailbox. Hetzner is bound to us by a processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR) and is not allowed to exploit the data for anything of its own. Beyond that, personal data leaves our hands only if a statute, or an authority with the power to demand it, requires disclosure. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data.

Transfers outside Europe

We do not transfer personal data outside the European Economic Area. Once you leave the site through a link, or before your email reaches our server, other companies handle your data under their own terms and safeguards.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for access to your data and a copy of it, for its correction or deletion, for restriction of its use, and for the data you gave us in a portable format. You may object at any time to processing based on legitimate interest; we will stop unless we have compelling legitimate grounds or need the data for a legal claim. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time, without affecting what happened before.

Requests go to info@wealthparadigms.com; begin the subject with "Privacy". We reply within one month, which can be extended by two further months for complex requests, in which case we tell you why. For server logs, which contain IP addresses rather than names, tell us your IP address and the approximate time of your visit so we can find the entries.

You may also complain to a supervisory authority. Ours is the Italian Garante per la protezione dei dati personali; you can equally turn to the authority of the EU country in which you reside or are employed.

Readers in the United States

This policy applies to every reader, wherever they are. For the purposes of the California Consumer Privacy Act and similar state laws: no personal information is sold, none is shared for cross-context behavioral advertising, and no sensitive personal information is used or disclosed. California readers can request access or deletion in the same way as described above, and we will not treat anyone differently for doing so.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

The site doesn't track readers across websites and doesn't allow third parties to collect information about your online activities over time or across sites while you are on our pages. Browsers that send Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signals therefore see exactly what everyone else sees, pages with no tracking; there is nothing left for the signal to switch off.

Children

The site is intended for adults, and the products it describes are generally available only to people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 16. If you believe a child has written to us, tell us and we will delete the message.

Security

Pages are served only over encrypted HTTPS connections. Only the people who run the site can log in to the server, read the logs or open the mailbox, and data is deleted on the schedules above.

Changes to this policy

This policy is effective from September 24, 2026, the date shown at the top. When we change it, the date changes too. A change to what we collect, or to why, is announced in a notice above this policy for a minimum of 30 days; if the change needs your consent, we ask before applying it.
