The rules for using this site, written to be read. Where the law gives you, as a consumer, stronger rights than these terms, the law prevails.
Who we are
This site, wealthparadigms.com ("Wealth Paradigms"), belongs to CTAWeb Srls, an Italian company whose full details are listed at the end of this page. Throughout these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to CTAWeb Srls; "you" refers to any visitor. Using the site means agreeing to these terms. If you disagree with them, please leave the site.
Information, not advice
The site explains in general terms how insurance, credit, banking and saving products work. Its content:
- is general information for educational purposes, not financial, investment, insurance, tax or legal advice;
- does not take into account your objectives, financial situation, health or needs;
- is not a recommendation to buy, apply for, keep or cancel any product;
- is not an offer, a solicitation or an invitation to enter into any contract.
Before taking a financial decision, consider getting advice from a licensed professional who knows your situation, such as a licensed insurance agent, a certified financial planner, a tax professional, an attorney or a nonprofit credit counselor.
We are not an intermediary
CTAWeb Srls is not a bank, lender, card issuer or insurer, and it is not an insurance agent or broker, credit intermediary, loan broker or financial adviser. It holds no authorization to carry out those activities, is not registered with IVASS, OAM or any US state or federal licensing authority, and does not carry them out: it doesn't sell, arrange, negotiate or place any product, and it doesn't collect or forward applications. Nothing on the site should be read as suggesting otherwise.
Figures are examples
Rates, APRs, premiums, fees, limits and other figures on the site are examples taken from public sources on the date shown on each page. They may be out of date, they don't apply to your case, and they are not quotes. The actual terms of any product are those set by the provider in its own documents at the time you apply. We never promise approval, a particular rate or premium, savings or returns.
Accuracy
We take care to keep guides accurate and dated, and we correct errors we are told about (see contact). We can't guarantee that every page is complete, error-free or current at the moment you read it, and providers can change their products at any time.
Providers, partners and advertisements
Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience. We don't control those sites and are not responsible for their content, their products, their privacy practices or the contracts you enter into with them. Any dispute about a product is between you and its provider.
Some links earn us a commission, and promotional pages are labeled "Advertisement", as explained in the advertiser disclosure. Provider names and trademarks remain the property of their holders. A mention is not an endorsement in either direction.
Intellectual property
All content of the site (writing, tables, illustrations, the logo and the design) is owned by CTAWeb Srls or licensed to it. Personal use is free: read, save and print pages as you like, and cite brief passages provided you link to the page they come from. Any other reproduction, including systematic copying or scraping of content to build another service or dataset, requires our written permission.
Using the site properly
You agree not to interfere with the site or its server: no attempts to access non-public areas, no vulnerability testing without permission, no automated traffic that burdens the server, and no use of the site to spread malware or spam. Security issues can be reported in confidence to info@wealthparadigms.com.
Liability
The site is provided free of charge and "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for decisions you take on the basis of its content, or for losses caused by third-party sites or products reached through it.
These limits never cover harm caused intentionally or through gross negligence, which Article 1229 of the Italian Civil Code does not allow us to exclude, nor death, personal injury or any other liability the law keeps in place. Your statutory consumer rights under the Italian Consumer Code (Legislative Decree 206/2005), and the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence, remain untouched.
Changes to the site and to these terms
We may change, suspend or remove content at any time. We may also update these terms: whatever version appears on this page, with its effective date at the top, is the one that applies. Changes do not apply retroactively to use of the site before they were published.
Governing law and courts
Italian law governs these terms. Consumers keep every mandatory safeguard granted by the law of the country where they habitually live, and may bring a dispute before the courts of their own place of residence or domicile: the Italian Consumer Code provides this for consumers in Italy, and EU rules for consumers elsewhere in the Union. In all other cases, jurisdiction lies with the courts of the district of our registered office.
