Wealth Paradigms is free to read because some links pay us a commission. Here is exactly how that works, and the limits we put on it.
The arrangement
Some links on this site are affiliate links. When you follow one to a provider or partner platform and complete an action there, such as requesting an insurance quote, submitting a loan or card application, or opening an account, we may receive a commission. In some cases the commission is paid for the action itself, whether or not you are approved or end up buying anything.
Commissions reach us through affiliate networks that connect publishers with advertisers, today or in the near future MaxBounty and Perform[cb], and later possibly through comparison and marketplace platforms for insurance and credit. Advertisers pay these commissions. You never pay more because you came from our link, and the price or terms a provider offers you don't depend on it.
What the money can't change
- What a guide says. Guides are written from the sources described in how we work, before and regardless of any commercial relationship. A partner cannot review, edit or approve a guide.
- What a guide includes. Products and providers are chosen to explain a topic. A product may be mentioned whether or not it earns us anything, and a partner has no right to be mentioned.
- How products are presented. We don't rank products, and nobody can pay to be called "best" or to be placed first. Where a table compares products, the order follows the feature being compared or the alphabet, never the commission.
What we don't cover
We don't cover every provider or every product on the market. The insurers, lenders, card issuers and banks named in our guides are a selection, and there may be offers better suited to you that we don't mention. Guides focus on the United States, and products, rules and prices differ from state to state. Before you decide, compare offers from several sources, including providers we never mention.
Rates, premiums and terms are examples
Any rate, APR, premium, fee, limit or term that appears on this site is an example meant to show how a product works or how a cost is calculated. It is not a quote and not an offer:
- figures come from the provider's published information or from official data on the date shown in the guide, and may have changed since;
- the rate or premium you are offered depends on the provider's assessment of you, for example your credit history, income, location, age or driving record;
- approval is never guaranteed, and no guide says or implies that you will qualify for a product or a rate.
Always check the current terms and the full cost on the provider's own site, and read the documents it gives you, before you apply or sign.
We are not the provider or an intermediary
When you follow a link and apply, your contract is with the provider, never with us. CTAWeb Srls, which operates Wealth Paradigms, is not a lender, insurer, bank or card issuer, and it is not a licensed insurance agent or broker, credit intermediary or financial adviser. It doesn't sell, arrange or place any product, doesn't receive or process applications, and isn't registered with IVASS, OAM or any US licensing authority. A partner platform may be a licensed intermediary itself: its own pages will say so and name its licenses.
How to recognize paid content
- Guides with affiliate links carry a notice under the title, before any link, saying that we may earn a commission.
- Offer boxes in a guide carry the same notice next to the button, and their links are marked for search engines as sponsored.
- Promotional pages, written to present a specific offer rather than to explain a topic, carry the label "Advertisement" above the title. We don't publish sponsored articles disguised as independent guides.
- General information notice. Every guide and every page of this section ends with the reminder that the site offers general information, not advice.
